Penguins vs Sharks


Sidney Crosby bounced back from two of his weaker playoff performances to lead the Pens Offensively and Overall in Game 6.

Connor Sheary had his strongest game of the Finals and led PIT F's in Defensive contribution. Patric Hornqvist, Nick Bonino and Eric Fehr were also strong Defensively.

Ben Lovejoy had a huge night Defensively, also putting him into the Overall lead among PIT D.

Olli Maatta had his lowest Defensive contribution of the Finals.

Kris Letang led in Offense with Brian Dumoulin and Maatta close behind.


Logan Couture had another strong game to lead SJS in each of Offense, Defense and Overall. Joe Thornton, the second best Shark forward Overall, contributed 61% of Couture.

Thornton and Joonas Donskoi contributed similar Offense but were a ways back of Couture.

Marc-Edouard Vlassic led the SJS D-core in Defense and Overall contribution.

Brent Burns led Offensively.

Paul Martin had his lowest contribution of the Finals


PIT forwards contributed 41% more Offense and 2.5 times more Defense than SJS forwards

As a team PIT contributed twice as much at even strength compared to SJS.
